BEGOS Supplier Evaluation System and Application Portal
As Buca Ege Organized Industrial Zone (BEGOS), we aim to ensure that all goods and services we need within the framework of our budget and work programmes are purchased at the most suitable time, quality and price. Transparency, openness, competition and the efficient use of resources are the most fundamental principles of our purchasing processes. In line with these principles, a fair, open and standards-based "Supplier Evaluation System" has been designed for all companies wishing to work with our Zone.
Our Supplier Categories
BEGOS classifies goods and service providers into 5 main groups according to their fields of activity:
MANUFACTURER: Companies that sell the products they manufacture.
SELLER: Representatives, distributors or dealers without production capability but authorized by manufacturers to sell.
SUB-INDUSTRY: Companies with approved technical competence that manufacture or design according to BEGOS requirements.
SERVICE: Companies providing services such as consultancy, maintenance and repair, inspection, cleaning, security, staff transport and catering.
CONSTRUCTION AND INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS: Companies working on all kinds of infrastructure (electricity, water, natural gas, etc.) and superstructure construction works within our Zone.
Our Two-Stage Evaluation System
To improve quality and operational efficiency, our suppliers are evaluated through a two-stage process:
1. Candidate Supplier (Supplier Pool): Companies that complete their application with the required documents and pass the preliminary evaluation by our relevant units are included in our "Supplier Pool". These companies are invited to submit price quotations in purchasing processes within the scope of our standard purchasing procedures.
2. Approved Supplier: Companies in the supplier pool are periodically scored by our commission on criteria such as quality standards, delivery performance, financial structure and technical competence. Companies that meet the defined success criteria are included in the "Approved Supplier List" by decision of the Board of Directors.
Application Steps
To join the BEGOS approved supplier network, you can submit your application to our Regional Directorate by following the steps below:
- Download the form: Download the BEGOS Supplier Application Form at the bottom of the page to your computer.
- Fill it in completely: Fill in the company information and field of activity sections in Part 1 and Part 2 of the form, and tick the supply category that suits you.
- Prepare your documents: Attach your Trade Registry Gazette, Tax Certificate, Certificate of Activity, Signature Circular and, if available, your capacity report and ISO/quality certificates to the form.
- Declaration and undertaking: Confirm the declaration in the last section of the form, stating that you comply with the BEGOS ethical rules and accept the provisions of Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), with the signature of the authorized person and the company stamp.
- Submit: You can send the completed form and its attachments as scanned files by e-mail to satinalma@begos.org.tr or deliver them by hand to our Regional Directorate.
Our Ethical Rules and Principles
No staff member involved in our Zone's purchasing processes may request or accept gifts, hospitality or monetary benefits from suppliers in any way. We also expect all our business partners and candidate suppliers to strictly comply with our transparency principles and specifications throughout the process.
